Description of Design Presentations

Country Designers Presentation
Ballroom of Mulie Hotel, September 6, 2005
10:00 - 14:30 (three sessions)

Theme: "The Enchanting Beauty of Indonesian Nature"

Each country is required to nominate one Designer to represent the country.

Country Designers Presentation will be conducted in three sessions with 4-5 designers in each session and commentators on the stage.

Designers will create their won design style through the inspiration of the beauty of Indonesian nature. Major part of the designs should be prepared in advance off stage and presented on the stage.

A variety of flowers, greens, technical materials as well as containers/vases will be provided. Designers are advised to bring any additional materials from their country to compliment the design.

The list of materials available for the presentation will be sent to each country by email attachment. Most of the materials are tropical flowers and greens.

Feature Designers Presentation
Ballroom of Mulia Hotel, September 6, 2005
15:00 – 17:00 (two sessions)

Theme: “Features in the Beauty Parades”
Performed through the collaboration of Floral Design, Body Painting and Fashion

The theme “Features in the Beauty Parades” is a parade of beautiful models in body painting and wearing a very light dressing furnished with Floral Design. Each model is featuring the characteristic of a place, culture or a certain era.

The Organizing Committee will select a total of 12 Feature Designers to create a special design according to the theme given. Each Feature Designers will be assigned to complete the collaboration of Body Painting and Fashion with flowers, greens and ornaments according to the theme on the Models provided. Body Painting and Fashion is already prepared. Sketch will be sent to Designers by email attachment soon.

The designers will complete the designs on the Models off stage and will be shown on the stage together with the Designers.

A variety of flowers, greens, technical materials will be provided. Designers are advised to bring any additional materials from their country to compliment the design.
